Richard Clifford began his career in 1980, as an apprentice with Winter Brother Construction. He continued to learn from established companies and finally opened his doors as Clifford Construction in 1989.

His developed specialty is in outdoor construction including hardscapes with fire and water features, layered steps, paved patios and retaining walls.

It wasn’t long before the idea of Pavertime was born, a practical hardscape company that solves problems and leaves the client, with something that is always more than beautiful!

Drew Cantwell founded Spring Creek Properties in 1998, marrying a real estate background with custom renovation services. Together with Melissa England, he built a full-service real estate company with an emphasis on staging long before “staging” was a popular term. The focus was making things beautiful.

Following this line of thinking, the outdoors has become the next frontier. Curb appeal, custom designed individual creations, nature expanded, all emphasized with hardscapes allows for the best in outdoor expressions. Pavertime was a natural next step, helping him show properties in the best possible light.

Colton Clifford is the Director of Marketing at Pavertime, where he focuses on building clear, visually driven brand strategies and digital campaigns. With five years of experience in marketing and a background in fine arts, he brings a creative, image-centered approach to audience engagement.

Clifford holds a BFA in Photography from Sam Houston State University and an MFA in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art. His career has included work in museum environments such as the New Orleans Museum of Art, as well as serving as Social Media Manager for New Orleans & Company, where he directed content for the Visit New Orleans social channels, helping connect global audiences with the city’s culture and tourism.

Sheri Burroughs has been a key member of the Pavertime team since 2017 and currently serves as the company’s Office Manager and Finance Officer. With a strong background in finance and operations, she manages bookkeeping, payroll, and the day-to-day administrative systems that support the company’s workflow.

Known for her attention to detail and organizational skills, Sheri helps ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the business. Prior to joining Pavertime, she gained experience in bookkeeping, payroll management, and the hospitality industry, developing a practical understanding of both financial oversight and client-facing service.

Melissa England founded Spring Creek Properties with Drew Cantwell in 1998, adding dimensions to homes and staging to showcase their best features and qualities.

She is pleased to be part of Pavertime, creating beautiful outdoor living spaces so her clients can enjoy their homes inside and out year-round.
